Indigenous microorganisms (IMO) have effective roles for sustainable organic farming. They have been proven to be efficient biofertilizers since an IMO is a village of beneficial bacteria that are living together in harmony and is proven to create amazing improvements in soil structure and plant health. The soil upon IMO application regains its loaminess, tilth, structure and even the natural farmer friends, the earthworms, come into droves.
There are many ways to make organic agriculture possible and effective. Vermicomposting and IMO are just two of so many others.
Good news is, AGREA produces vermicompost and IMO right at the AGREA Model Farm.
