The winner of the Women of the Future Awards South East Asia Social Entrepreneur Award 2018 is Cherrie Atilano, AGREA’s President and Founding Farmer.
The organizer's stated, “The judges were impressed with all of our candidates, but it was Cherrie who stood out with her proven track record and passion."
"Cherrie’s agro-social enterprise aims to develop a one island economy model and the judges commend her commercially savvy and scalable solution which could affect so many island countries such as Indonesia,” they added.
The first Women of the Future Awards in South East Asia happened last March 20, 2018 at the Hilton Singapore.
The Social Entrepreneur category identifies and celebrates younger entrepreneurs who are really going places. Judges will be looking for candidates who have already started to build a business (or businesses), and who can show they have the ambition, energy, skill, and vision to scale the heights.
We in AGREA can only be proud of this new achievement. Congratulations!
